I used all my fingers for a single fingerprint scan, and it actually works! I would still recommend adding an extra fingerprint scan for one single finger.

Interesting does it accept any finger or takes several to work

You can add up to 3 fingerprints, all three do not have to be yours (if you trust anyone else). I have programmed 2 on my dominant hand and one on the other.

However, I think the OP was relating the fact that while recording the fingerprint, they used a different finger on each pass (when it tells you to lift and move your finger), which resulted in them being able to use any finger and still unlock the phone while recording only "one" print.

It's just as easy, if not easier to just record 3 different prints. If one doesn't work, one of the other two wil.

Honestly, they are useful. But, I don't know. Do you mean, maybe if the 1st sensor doesn't work?
