S23 ULTRA NOT LETTING ME SIGN IN

Hello!! My AT&T S23U was recently unlocked and we got the madterkey lock working now only problem is it won't let me use my T-Mobile Sim saying I need to get my phone unlocked when I just did! Any suggestions?

@TheOgSeth It sounds like the phone wasn't actually carrier unlocked. Did you get the unlock code and process from your previous carrier?

Yes. The phone says unlocked but the T-Mobile Sim won't work

In settings it's says No Carrier unlocked

I have a factory unlocked phone and I don't see that message.

@TheOgSeth Sounds like you would need to return to AT&T and show them what happens when you put in the T-Mobile SIM.

@LongHiker I don't think factory unlocked phones say that.  I think it might be an indicator for carrier branded devices to indicate whether phone has been unlocked.  I could be wrong, though it feels reasonable.
