Trying to update my S23 Ultra with the most recent update but it keeps failing. I have a locked Verizon phone. Everytime I try to update, it's super slow and eventually fails giving my "Error Code: 407". I tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting my phone, using Smart Switch, switching between wifi and data, switching between different wifi networks. I have enough space on my phone (300gb free). If I knew what the error code meant, I could diagnose further. Google hasn't been helpful. Samsung support hasn't been helpful. They are telling me to manually flash my device but I wanna leave that as a last resort. Any suggestions?

Has anyone battery drain super fast because software update 27 for the s23 ultra?
The update keeps trying to update after I get the error code. I can't seem to stop the update from automatically trying to update.
PLEASE Samsung or Verizon fix this issue!!!

Iā€™ve had trouble getting that update to download into my S23 Ultra, as well. Iā€™ve decided not to try anymore until Verizon/Samsung gets this issue fixed. As for your problem, where it won't stop trying to automatically update, the only thing I know to try is to go to Settingsļ¼žSoftware updateļ¼žSystem update preferencesļ¼žSmart update. Then turn off ā€˜Smart updateā€™ and turn off ā€˜OS upgradesā€™. Personally, I prefer to keep these two options turned off all the time anyway, because I don't like my S23U to do updates without my knowing about it; I prefer to start updates manually. If that doesn't work, then Iā€™m afraid that I don't have any other suggestions to try. Good Luck.

Yeah, I tried those options and still keep having my phone try to do an automatic update. It's frustrating because it's draining my battery pretty fast.
They need to fix this problem because it's showing that it's not just for one type of Samsung Galaxy phone but for all of them.
