Custom Notification tones gone??

Is this setting actually gone for the S24? I can no longer have separate notification tones for my messages and general notifications. So whenever I get an email, amazon order, IG like, food order, samsung SMS message, etc, they all sound the same now.

I'm specifically wanting just my message notification tone differentiated from all the others. 

If anyone know a solution to this, please let me know. Thanks!

Gmail Settings  >

Click on YourName@gmail.com  >

Notifications  Sounds >

Notification Sound >
(Default Sound)

Sound >
(Default Sound)

Choose your new Notification Sound >

Go back one screen  >

Press Done.

I just bought the S24 Ultra, I tried to change my notification sound for my text messages but there is no listing to do that. Can anyone help?

The default notification sound is the actual tone that text messages uses. If you change it there it will change for the texts. Gmail, and the phone dialer have their own ability to change their respective tones. Whatsapp also has it's own setting.

If you want to change it per app basis you need to turn this on.
