Delayed software updates

It really sucks that you buy a flagship device and updates gets delayed, I'm using an S24 unlocked version and I'm still on August security patch meanwhile even s22 from other countries already have this. One UI 6.1.1 update took more than a month before reaching my device

I'm gonna try smart switch but I saw online about changing CSC code to s different country, is that a better option?

HOW TO FIX: take out your sim card and put in a carriers that has the update available (borrow it from a friend for  a minute)

Turn off phone insert other sim card when it boots it will load that carriers servers at which time you can check for update. download and update the phone then shut it off take out your friends sim card and replace it with yours and start the phone back up. It will load with your network but the update will stick

You probably shouldn't base your phone purchase decisions on future software updates.

Update go from region to region than the carriers release them September Update Google monthly patch was slower released for example changing carrier won't fix the issue

I'm on an S24 Ultra and and running the latest October security update.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, you're honestly not missing much

I'm also on a Samsung Galaxy S24 base model, locked i think or unlocked i forget

Question for you Cephas (or anyone else who'd be willing to answer anout their S24...)...

When you did the 6.1.1 Update, did your settings say that you're now on UI 6.1.1? Or does it still say 6.1?

Because someone in another forum here told me that the update would still be listed as 6.1 in my phone despite having done the update... Is that true??
