How do I turn these annoying things off?

The app notification settings for Device Care don't allow the notifications to be disabled. Is there another way?

The user probably got same one I'm receiving nags about check background usage to basically go nowhere, just another popup to deal with. USELESS. POINTLESS. These annoying nags have increased even with everything suppressed in my apps.

Oh that's interesting, I was wondering what had happened to the notification categories setting; I thought it was missing just for Device Care but didn't realize it was now a general setting.

It keeps complaining about Roon, I forget what exactly it says but something about using too much battery or running too long or something. I don't care.

I'll post here the next time I get a notification and see under which category it gets disabled.

Go to notification history. Select notification for device care from the list and long press for 2 seconds. Pop up appears to disable notification.

Before you can turn off Device Care notifications you need to be able to see Device Care. I don't see anyone here mentioning this important step. To do this, while in "App notifications" tap on the vertical three dots at top right and select "Show System Apps"

I can see it just fine without enabling system apps.  In the apps list, it's called "device care".

I had the same problem. Got woken up every morning at 4:40am with a "Device Care" notification. Took me weeks but I found it.

1. When the notification pops up, click on it. This will take you to Device Care.

2. Select the Three Vertical Dots (...) in the top right-hand corner.

3. Select Settings.

4. Select About Device Care.

5. Select the Information Icon in the top right-hand corner.

6. Select Notifications.

7. You can't disable the notifications but you can select Silent instead of Allow sound and Vibration.

You will still receive the notification but it won't vibrate.

Not sure if the menus are the same but I hope this helps - my phone is a Samsung A03.

I've never hated a phone as much as I hate this annoying, uncontrollable Samsung phone. These stupid intrusive background nags have put my annoyance over the top! There is no way, it appears to make these nags stop. I'm done with Samsung. You add I was sold this, new, with a bad board thru my former cell phone company I feel real sore!!!
