Galaxy S24How do I turn these annoying things off?
The app notification settings for Device Care don't allow the notifications to be disabled. Is there another way?

Galaxy S24If you are getting device care notifications, and you enabled notification categories and turned everything off for Device Care, you should take the time to read the notification and act on what it is telling you. It does not randomly send notifications unless there is something that needs attention - which it will do even if your notifications are off. Your text corrections are an entirely different matter. For that you have to turn off auto replace in the keyboard text correction settings.

Galaxy S24SOLUTION DOES NOT WORK.
If Samsung wants to keep losing customers over a stupid nag a customer cannot rid themselves of, well... put me on the list. I'd say Samsung has lost it.
Google pixel looking better and better..

Galaxy S24Try the solution here: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/A-Series-Other-Mobile/Check-background-power-use-notification/td...
If that does not help you, you can always turn Device Care notifications to "silent". The only notifications I ever get from Device Care is when it puts apps into deep sleep (and I have all the notifications turned on), and that's infrequent.

Galaxy S24They don't know what you mean. I'm getting it now too and you can only select the time to renotify, not delete. Yes annoying!! I've tried things but no luck yet. I'll get back if I figure it out

Galaxy S24The user probably got same one I'm receiving nags about check background usage to basically go nowhere, just another popup to deal with. USELESS. POINTLESS. These annoying nags have increased even with everything suppressed in my apps.

Galaxy S24Oh that's interesting, I was wondering what had happened to the notification categories setting; I thought it was missing just for Device Care but didn't realize it was now a general setting.
It keeps complaining about Roon, I forget what exactly it says but something about using too much battery or running too long or something. I don't care.
I'll post here the next time I get a notification and see under which category it gets disabled.

Galaxy S24Go to notification history. Select notification for device care from the list and long press for 2 seconds. Pop up appears to disable notification.

Galaxy S24Before you can turn off Device Care notifications you need to be able to see Device Care. I don't see anyone here mentioning this important step. To do this, while in "App notifications" tap on the vertical three dots at top right and select "Show System Apps"
