Does S24 ultra battery degrade if it dies?

Does phones battery degrade if it dies. today was I think the 3 or 4 time my phone completely dies since the release day.

I dont think so i heard that you should let your phone die sometimes.

Would depend on how low the battery was before it died and if it's not lasting very long i.e apps or some data use

From what I've read batteries have a finite number of 'cycles' they can go through. A full cycle would be from 100% to 0% and vice versa. The more 'cycles' you go through, the more your battery will deplete

it is not good for the battery to be completely depleted. as a rule, keep your phone charged between 20% and 80% to get the longest battery life.

I tried it and i noticed my battery drained much faster when i let it charge to 80%
