Galaxy S24Always On Display drains nearly 2% of battery per hour on my S24 Ultra. This is much higher than the S23 Ultra. Hopefully this will be fixed in an update?

Galaxy S24Tap on performance profile, by default it is set to standard, turn on lite.
It will not affect the performance of phone unless you are playing intensive games.
You will now get about a 20% battery increase.
Also in settings, battery, make sure adaptive is turned on.

Galaxy S24Go to settings, device care, diagnostics, phone diagnostics and scroll down to find and select battery.
It should say Normal. Life: Good.
If not, you send the phone back for a replacement.
You can check other stuff there too. Which apps use the most battery etc.
Mine lasts at leasts a day and I'm always in my phone, watching videos etc.

Galaxy S24Hi All,
Like many of you ,I was looking forward to get my hands on the new Galaxy S24.Unfortunately as you know all,we don't get the Snapdragon version in Europe or here in the UK.I still took the risk.
First impression was amazing out of the box the handset felt amazing, switched it on ,screen amazing, speakers (the best I heard) in a smart phone.I was setting up my phone and was not really giving attention to the battery drain which was already unusually high.By the time I set up my phone from 65% went to 48% in 10 minutes(no smart transfer etc.)...so I put my phone to charge. After the phone charged to 100% I started to test the battery with no Bluetooth on,no background runni g apps, battery saving mode,60HZ,brightness reduced to 20%(or less),no location enabled etc.First I wrote an email and the battery dropped 8% just getting one email done.Went on watching a YouTube video(10mins length) and my battery lost another 10 %.Went to check my Reddit account (2-3 minutes) and my battery another 3% down.Put my phone down and did not use it for 2 hrs while it lost another 13% doing nothing. So 66% remaining with around 35-40 mins SOT.I ended up using the phone watching a movie, surfing on the net for the remaining time.It gave me from 100% to 0% altogether 3hrs52mins SOT which is awful.I did copy the same procedure on the my son's Redmi Note 11 which gave me 7hrs28mins SOT still remaining 24% battery with brighter screen at 90HZ, everything enabled.I know these are two different phones which two different processors.I did repeat the same procedure for 6 days getting the same(ISH) results.I must tell never ever had a phone with such a horrendous battery life as the S24 Exynos 256GB.I did return the phone the Samsung who are sending me a new one,was told I must had a faulty unit, well I mustn't be alone I can see many out there having the same issues, some even have display, connection issues.
At the end lost my trust in Samsung especially in Exynos.

Galaxy S24On my iPhone 13 mini after 23 min usage battery dropped only 1%.11 min Safari,4 min Gmail, three minutes YouTube, rest Reddit/icloud.1% on a 2.5 years old iPhone 13 mini with half of the battery as the s24 have. The Samsung dropped 15-20% same time, less usage.
