Galaxy S24 Battery Drain

Always On Display drains nearly 2% of battery per hour on my S24 Ultra. This is much higher than the S23 Ultra. Hopefully this will be fixed in an update?

The phone doesn't actually drop to absolute zero capacity when it hits 0 percent as shown by the OS, you should be fine but if concerned just restart power cycle at 3 percent

same, my battery started having issues 2 days ago; I went to bed knowing I had 60 percent left on the battery, so I didn't bother charging it. Woke up and the phone was completely dead. It took a good 20 minutes to even see the green charging circle on my phone. ever since i have to charge it every 6 hours, its draining so fast.

Hello Ray,

Just bought a Samsung S24+ 10 days ago. Even I'm facing similar issue. As soon as i disconnect it from charge the battery goes down to 99% in just 1 minute. And then it continues to drop. My battery charge setting is set to Adaptive, AOD disabled , display set to FHD+

Its indeed is worrisome.

I am encountering a immense battery drain from Gallert Stories on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I have disabled the app. Please help

I also have this problem. I had a s23ultra and I use it since 7:00 to 00:00 every day, without any charging. Now around 19:00 I have to charge the S24 ultra again. I checked what drains the battery and every day and Gallery stories drains around 10-13%. I do not even use it. I tried to disable it but it still appears there. Also secsoundpicker wich I have no idea why uses 10% of the battery. Nothing else compar to these 2. It is a pity that the battery doesn't rise up to the name.

I have the S24 Ultra and have noticed a massive battery drain in the last couple days. I do play a couple games on it and 1 in particular crashes constantly on this phone and device care says its draining battery in the background. I had the same game on my old S22+ and had no issues. Is anyone else having any similar problems

I would call Samsung customer service and see if they can either repair or replace your phone, if you don't try then you'll never know, Good Luck 👍

Long press the game, click on (I) button, click on battery and select restricted. Your game maybe running like crazy in the background and draining your battery

I checked on this and it's already on restricted

Try clearing cache. You might also just try to delete add install it again
