Is there anyway to stop the charging animation?

Is there a way? Because now I think it I'd starting to drain my battery. And at night I have my phone charging and it's really annoying because it illuminates my eyes and wakes me up.

Any chance you can post a photo or screenshot of what it looks like?

Look at windows animation scale in developers options and turn it off and see if animations are gone.

I think you have screen saver on. Turn it off in your display settings

Finally select NONE from the list of options. As simple as that mate.
