Is there any way to set a reminder to get an item from the store with while you're in that area. Example notification pops on screen... You are in the Walmart area you need milk eggs cereal. Lol it would be nice instead of getting home then remembering.
It will be practically impossible unless the store is designed to allow GPS signal reception, and you would have to be at the location you want to set the reminder to initiate it. GPS sensor in the current form uses satellites (in most cases) to triangulate and determine your location, though you're able to use other connected devices to determine location in some instances.
Locating a store on a map from a different location usually gives you coordinates for the store itself, not an aisle in the store.
This, of course, is what is generally available to consumers. However, there are ways to pinpoint an item on a certain shelf in a store that may not be available to the general public.
You can set a reminder to pop up while you're in the store (if you planned your trip and know the time of arrival).
You can do this. Under Routines, make a routine. Select "Place" as the if, and pick a place. Select "Custom Notification" as the then, and fill in what you want it to say.
The reminder app or phone GPS sensor can pinpoint an aisle in a store, so when you get to the location, it prompts you to pick up an item located in that aisle?
