Solved: Matter device pop ups - Samsung Community

Recently bought a new AC for my room, which has matter built in. I do not have a hub to be able to use matter with my phone. I'm constantly getting this pop up on my phone when i'm inside my house. Can I turn this off? Or is it something i'm going to have to live with?

I found the solution on another page!

Disable Nearby device scanning in settings.

Settings --> Connections --> More connection settings --> Nearby device scanning

I have this same issue. I replaced my AC units with a Matter enabled AC and keep getting this pop-up. The Add button took me to the SmartThings app, so I deleted that thinking it would get rid of these pop-ups. It did not.
