My Galaxy S24 won't connect to Wi-Fi 6E network?

Galaxy S24

I have a Samsung S24 that is not "seeing" my new Wifi router's 6E network. It connects to regular WiFi 6 only. My husband's S23+ connects to the 6E network flawlessly. The router is a Google Nest Pro with two satellites working as a mesh network in my home. We're in the USA.

Shouldn't my S24 connect to the 6E WiFi network? Are there settings I need to change to get it to work?

Thank you.

As you can see, S24U fully stock and showing 6E in statusbar along with here are the wifi dev options that prove I'm on the 6e spectrum with those link speeds 1732495436534.jpg

Google routers like to decide what network is best for your connection, it does not let you choose.  I had one of these but could not get my S24 Ultra to STAY on the 6e network due to this "feature", I bought an Asus one that allows me to set a different SSID based on the signal strength, 2.4, 5, and 6ghz.  I then connected my S24 to the 6e (6ghz) one and it has been happily reporting 6e in the upper corner ever since.
