I'm really trying my hardest to give the Samsung keyboard a fair chance here. It seems to randomly lag a bit which makes it sometimes miss a letter, but the one thing that is an absolute deal breaker for me is that I can't manually open the number pad.

Am I just missing something, or is Samsung really that incompetent?

I mean a proper NumPad. Something like this. Not symbols with a number row at the top. Screenshot_20240910_202310_Samsung Members_1000005306_1726024991.png

For Samsung Keyboard:

ā€¢  Settings  ā‰»
ā€¢  General Management  ā‰»
ā€¢  Samsung Keyboard Settings  ā‰»
ā€¢  Language and Types  ā‰»
ā€¢  Numbers and Symbols  ā‰»
ā€¢  Select 3x4  ā‰»
ā€¢  Switch Pressing (!#1).

Yeah, I managed to figure it out. Too bad the symbol keyboard sucks. Only has about ā…“ the symbols of Gboard, many of which I use for work.

If you liked G-Board, why are you trying to like Samsung's keyboard? No reason to switch using something you prefer unless it doesn't do something you need it to do. It's the themes, isn't it?

I was wanting to play around with some of the A.I. features. I also like that I can do things like hide the full stop/period key so I can stop accidentally tapping it. But the compromises I'm having to make just aren't worth it so far.

The clipboard that actually works worth a flip was nice too. No idea why Google had to go and screw theirs up.
