No "settings gear" while connecting Bluetooth

Hello, I just got a new S24 and upon trying to forget devices my bluetooth scanned in an attempt to connect my ear buds, I discovered there is no settings gear to let me do that. Here's a screenshot. Where in the world is it? I want to connect my bluetooth but can't until this is fixed. Help! (I circled where they'd usually be). I've already tried restarting all settings, went into the developer settings and everything.

Is the headphones case open the s24 ultra uses googles quick connect and should pop up as soon as the case is opened but if the case is left shut it'll be undiscoverible at least front what I know with my galaxy buds 2 pro .. my old oneplus buds z and oneplus buds pro 2
