As many of us are experiencing these camera issues where the post processing ruins images taken by making them grainy or too saturated. I found temporarily that using the camera in safe mode and airplane mode gave me way better results when using the camera . Hopefully they fix this soon

Turns out my camera issue is a hardware issue. I spoke to representative and there are no updates coming for the camera, only for the screen issues. I will return mine an get a new device. Seems I got a early model that was part of a bad batch.
Update: got my replacement device today NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. now this is what the s24 ultra is supposed to be. WOW I can't believe the difference. The screen for sure is way brighter and more colorful and the camera is amazing and no issues with post processing ruining images. If anything it just makes them way better. I can't believe what a difference there is between the devices
Samsung, please spend time improving the camera quality on the s24 plus and others in this series instead of prettying up how icons look on the upcoming update. The pictures on my s24 plus are so dull. It struggles if I am taking pictures at night, in my brightly lit room, but no natural light. My husband's s23 plus adjusts how much light it lets in to make pictures look so much vibrant. The saturation and warmth on the s23 plus are flattering to pictures. The pictures on my s24 plus look more toned down, cool and dull. Please fix this.
I totally agree with you. S24 ultra camera needs some software upgrades. It sucks that my old S22 Ultra takes alot better high quality photos compared to s24 ultra. Kinda regret upgrading...
The camera is hardware, not software. Maybe they just put lousy cameras in the S24. Now, they might spend some effort in improving the camera software, but we don't know what's going to be in OneUI7.
