S24 Ultra Live Translate Features Don't Work Despite Settings Enabled

Live Translate dosemt work despite being fully set up S24 ULTRA.

Can someone please help me here. Every time I try to install language packs (any) on my S24 Ultra, I receive a note "something went wrong when downloading the language pack ...". Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

So there's a new update for the S24 to download, try that. If that doesn't work, and you have "Chat Translation" enabled in the settings, and you have the latest language packs installed, try opening the Google Messages app, go to the main page (where it shows all of your text streams), click on your profile picture in the upper right hand corner, go to "Messages Settings", scroll down to "Advanced", click on it, then scroll down to "Text on Galaxy Devices". Click on that and you should have an option that says "Allow Bixby and text on Galaxy devices". Enable that option, then try and see if the chat translation works properly. If it doesn't, go to Samasung Messages, set it as the default messaging app and CT should work there, but you won't be able to react to Messages with emojis. Hope this helps, keep us updated!!

Found another possible solution on Reddit...

go to "Settings", go to "Security and Privacy", go to "More Privacy Settings", and make sure "Android Personalization Service" is turned on. If it's not turned on, turn it on then restart your phone, or close the Google Messages app and restart it

My issue is when I enter English to translate to Spanish it's saying that I'm typing in an unsupported language. It does translate my text that are in Spanish to English but it won't translate my entered text

Thank you. I will let them know. I absolutely love samsung phones, so I will provide feedback on this issue. It wouldn't matter if it's not accurate 100%, but it includes profanity even if no one on the line has said it.

I have used the live translate, but when saying something, it does not translate correctly. Instead, it says stuff that makes no sense when no one is talking and in one call it said cuss words. I've already texted samsung care about it. They sent me steps to take but unfortunately they did not work. The second set of steps Turing on live captions made it worse so I turned it off. I hate that their is an issue with spanish to english translation. I was hoping it would be useful for my mom when making calls on her own.

Are you using the Samsung server to connect to AI functions?

You can check by going to:
Settings>Advanced Features>Advanced Intelligence >Scroll Down and make sure that the Process Data only on Device option is OFF.

I followed your steps. luckily, it was a family member, and thought it was funny that it started saying random words when no one was saying anything. It didn't work for my phone.

This is exactly what is happening to me...swear words included.  It will translate what we're saying in one colour and then add long statements that make no sense and include lots of cuss words, in another colour.  It makes no sense.
