Galaxy S24I've had my posts deleted twice regarding this on the Samsung Members app. There is something really wrong/miscalibrated with these speakers. In direct comparison to my S23 Ultra, they sound much lower, tinny, and downright unusable. I have a third party equalizer app that I've used for YEARS with Samsung devices and on the S24 Ultra, it basically amplifies the same garbled, tinny sound from the speakers, just louder. It's almost like there's a software issue regarding the speaker, I'd be hard pressed into thinking it was hardware this early in the game of testing. Samsung really needs to update either the speaker driver or update the speaker calibration to at least mirror was it was on the S23 Ultra because it doesn't sound good right now

Galaxy S24Mine sounded like **bleep** when I first tried to listen to music. Very very distorted. I listened to the same song on the S23U at the same time as the S24U and the 23U sounded *so* much better. Sounded fine on the 24U with Atmos turned off, but without the Atmos it still didn't sound as good as the 23, but it would have been fine.
Changed Atmos from "Music" to "auto" and it suddenly sounded to much better on the S24U. And much louder. Weird because the 23U is also set to "music" and it sounds fine that way on it. And "Auto" and "music" sound identical on the S23U.

Galaxy S24Yeah, definitely not a hardware issue. I tried listening to music on my buds. Same result. Sounds terrible with Atmos set to music, sounds perfect when set to auto. Sounds fine when set to movie and voice as well. Sounds ok with Atmos turned off. And also tried my soundbar, which is a surround system with Atmos speakers. Exact same result again.
Just tried a movie using VLC. That sounds terrible with movie mode enabled. Sound's fine with Auto, music and voice. Something wrong with Atmos it seems.

Galaxy S24Exactly. I also switched from my S21 Ultra and this S24 Ultra is absolute dog chit compared to my 21. The screen color, the speaker when listening to music, and ESPECIALLY the speaker when on speaker phone. I hope to god this is just a software issue and not a hardware issue due to the new speaker design. If the next software update doesn't fix these problems I will definitely be returning this phone. I can't believe Samsung released this phone THIS unfinished. I don't think they did 1 single test of the basic functions of this phone before releasing.
