Speakers lack bass compared to my s23ultra. I'd expect every aspect of a new phone to be better, if not the same as the previous generation. The s23ultra speakers sound fuller and much more balanced than the tinny sound coming out of the s24ultra. Maybe calibrate the speakers better?
I come from an S21U and the S24U is NOTABLY worse. The sound is SO tinny that it's unpleasent to listen to. Just listening to youtube clips with voices is piercing. It's loud enough, and there is a tiny bit more of low end than the S21U, but it's like there is absolutely NO midrange what so ever. It's a little bit of low end and TONS of high frequency that just hurts your ears even on lower volume. Worst part is, as the reactions are so divided it's impossible to tell if this is "normal" or a faulty device.
I received the S24+ 3 weeks ago - The speaker is so tinny - crackling - driving me crazy - hurts my ears using speakerphone for calls. I'm sorry I upgraded from my Note 10 which was perfectly fine. Been on with Samsung they won't even acknowledge that there is a problem. Samsung is going to lose a very long-time customer. They also will not swap out the phone because It's been over 2 weeks, not that it would make a difference.
The new Galaxy s24 Ultra does not sound too good compared to the other older models the best sounding phone to music is the Google 7 plus it blows the Galaxy Ultra away and sound and speed
Just bought the Samsun24+, the sound is terrible. Very tinny sound and distant. Volume is very low, I have it at max. The left side of the speaker is completely off. I have tried to adjust the volume and speakers, nothing.
Sounds like I am listening to an old AM radio.

I am not understanding why they are selling such expensive phones with these issues.
I get 2 returns on the on this phone. Do I try another Samsung 24+ or do I just buy a different phone? has anyone exchanged for the same phone? I know sometimes we just get lemons but I am not sure about this one, there have been few complaints regarding the same issue.
You might want to return it if you can under warranty. My wife and I both got this phone, S24+, three weeks ago and the sound is excellent. I think better than on my old s22 ultra. Good luck
Can we expect speakers to be in IPHONE LEVEL or better in future or expect the same AVERAGE SPEAKER QUALITY with a normal minor improvements compared to them and oldermodels?
