Galaxy S24Why rely on cloud services to back up your device?

Galaxy S24And to the comment about a thumb drive and why depend on cloud, that's kinda not the point. Sure we could do that but our product gives us a cloud service to be used and we have a right to use it and have legit questions about it. So offering an alternative is totally besides the point, I'm sorry to challenge your suggestion albeit a decent suggestion.

Galaxy S24@br0beWanKenobi Are you using Verizon? Verizon blocks access to Samsung Cloud.

Galaxy S24@br0beWanKenobi Someone in Verizon made the business decision to block it.

Galaxy S24Just out of curiosity, does Verizon block access on all phones on their network or just Verizon locked phones? If one has an unlocked phone will they still have the option to back up to the cloud? It seems like Verizon blocks so many features, I wonder why people stay with them. I have always had a general disdain for Verizon, so I never considered them as an option for a carrier.

Galaxy S24Another good reason to not choose Verizon.
