How do I set the default browser to None? There is no such option in settings.

That is because Chrome is a Google product.  All Google products are linked.  When you log into your Google account, you will see your location history (unless you turned it off), your browsing history, etc.  You can delete it at any time and you can set it to auto delete after 30 days.  I think these days the auto delete after 30 days is on automatically.  When you use Chrome, all your favorites, history and settings are synced between devices so you have the same experience on each device you use and have Chrome installed on--same with Firefox and Edge and, no doubt, Samsung Internet between Samsung devices. You can turn off syncing, if you desire.

What I meant was my browsing history from Duckduckgo browser was appearing in Chrome browser. I did not even login to Google account in DDG

That's not supposed to happen. DDG advertises on that premise. You should contact them.

Samsung could have made their own browser the default, full stop, no options. But to avoid a lawsuit* they allow their users to select an alternate browser should they choose.

*Microsoft was sued in the 1990's for making their browser the default on Windows PCs, which killed off other small browsers like Netscape and Opera. They lost and were forced to allow their users to adopt other browsers, but Windows it still shipped with the Microsoft browser as the default to this day. Apple was recently sued for iMessages in a similar fashion. Their loss has caused them to adopt RCS.

The stock, out of the box, default browser for a Samsung phone is Samsung Internet. You may choose another, if you so wish, otherwise, Samsung Internet will remain your default browser.

You cannot set none, however, if you install a new browser you will be presented with the "select browser" prompt when opening a link, and by not choosing "always" you will get that prompt at any time.

I installed a new browser and disabled Chrome. It still doesn't ask me to choose a browser. Instead, it opens links in Samsung browser now.
