Disappointed the S25 has no S-Pen Bluetooth connectivity

Samsung this was definitely a deal breaker for me as I use Air Actions every day I was going to upgrade but I'm now sticking with my S24 Ultra I mean seriously Air Actions was the main selling point of the S-Pen

I chatted with an Expert on the Shop App this is what they told me

I saw some content online and so far air actions are not present in the new S Pen, meaning no Bluetooth. I can't confirm 100% since I don't yet own the product.

I heard rumors of an SPen Pro for the 25 Ultra, but have yet to be able to find anything legit about it.

So Samsung wants to give everyone super special AI features that require subscription after 6 months; charge users for a monster S Pen that does what the previous S Pen did for nothing extra; and wonder why phones are sitting in the warehouse collecting dust. No thanks, Samsung - try sticking with what works!

During one of our sessions today at the Unpacked event, the Samsung manager confirmed that the S25 Ultra S Pen does not have Bluetooth. He said that the data showed that the Air actions weren't heavily used by users and removing Bluetooth helped with overall device battery life.

That's funny, all I've heard since that info came out is complaints that they removed it. I mean it only served 3 purposes - pen, air actions and camera. So they've taken away 2 of the 3 purposes?

FYI, the camera control is part of Air actions.

I just meant most people only use it for those 3 reasons. Regardless of what controls what. I want to work my camera from my pen, hover over the screen and double click my pen to open the magnifier or translator and write notes or draw with the pen. If you get the S25 Ultra you can only write notes and draw.

I will most likely be sticking with my S22 Ultra over the s pen Bluetooth. The S25 Ultra is a substantial upgrade but I don't want just a pen. While I admit I have only used the camera sitter feature a handful of times, it's there when I want it. With the S25 I will never have the option. Very disappointed. It could've even been been an add-on feature to order for those who want it, but they can't charge a monthly fee for it like they will for AI features so it's gone.
