I can't seem to be able to factory reset my S25U.

I have tried everything, when I get to the screen where I click Delete all (after putting my lock screen password) it will ask me for my Samsung account password, I put it in, it just signs me off my Samsung account and goes back to the first screen where it Says Factory data reset.

If I go through the process again. It will get to the part where it asks me to put my Samsung Acc password and it will sign me into Samsung account. But the factory reset never happens.

Ironically I didn't realize I was typing this message first on my 24U and I resetted that device instead.

But my 25U I don't know if it's a bug in the OS but I cannot factory reset my S25U.

Anyone has encountered this?

I have the same exact problem and can't get this work. I'm returning the phone but can't do it without a factory reset and now this doesn't work

I followed the first suggestion from user "realaud," and it worked. It seemed like a full factory reset since it took me back to the initial setup screen. However, Iā€™m not very tech-savvy, so Iā€™m not sure if that method leaves any trace compared to the factory reset option in the settings (which didnā€™t work). In the end, I had to send the phone back, and this experience only added to my disappointment with Samsung

A factory reset is a factory reset, regardless of which method is used to get there.
