Gboard key press sound issue on s25 ultra

Any fix for key press sound ? It's either all or nothing. Works fine on my s24 ultra

Once again same for me..missing my 24 ultra so much. Especially the battery longevity.

Is sound enabled in the Google keyboard preferences? And if it is, is the volume level above zero?

Yeah sound is enabled and volume is above zero I've even tried clearing cache deleting app and redownloading

Go to settings/general management/keyboard list and default then click on "Gboard", preferences and toggle on sound on keypress.

Yeah I've done that. Very strange it worked fine on my old s24 ultra

Very odd. Have you tried another keyboard to see if it has the same issue?

The Samsung keyboard doesn't seem to have any issues it seems to be specific to Gboard

Well that certainly narrows that down. I don't use Gboard nor Samsung as they lack features I like on the SwiftKey, which is super-customizable. I do not care about the sounds but it has great haptic feedback on the taps, that is what I want though.

Maybe leave a review/or leave a message to the Google devs in the Play Store specifically for the Gboard by checking a feedback link in the about section of the app. It may be waiting to release an updated version that works for the S25 and the previous models soon to upgrade to the UI 7.0. (I'm just thinking out loud here). 🙂

Yeah I wrote a message to the developers. I'm going to try SwiftKey to seeee how it is. Samsung keyboard is terrible in my opinion.
