So I bought a s 22 ultra unlocked from Samsung when it came out... and I seemed to like the tmobile phone... only because it seemed like the phone had more compatibility with t moblie... so I ordered the s 25 ultra t mobile instead of unlocked ... will the phone still be unlocked since it's paid for ... I actually want the t mobile logo when I turn it on ... I guess my question is it good or bad to have ordered the t mobile version

If both same price it will be best to go for unlocked version since people pay more for it when you sell it, also some websites such as oneplus will pay more for trade if you give them unlocked phone.
Also, locked phones will force you to get apps that you don't need even after unlocking them and paid full price.

I prefer the unlocked versions because I travel a lot and it's easier to use local SIM cards for travel. But if you plan to stay with T-Mobile for whatever period until you can unlock it, you should be fine.

On the S24, T-Mobile eliminated some features available on unlocked S24 phones. For example, you cannot have five lines of apps or six lines of buttons on the Quick Panel.

Foreign eSIM transfers may not work correctly on carrier branded (U) variants, even after an unlock, as band and network support may be limited. Only factory unlocked (U1) variants can fully work.
