I've been dealing with Microsoft regarding the trouble with Mahjong and Solitaire since last week. They just got back to me again and this is what they said:
"This situation is triggered by some features that are not enabled in Android version 15 and One UI version 7.0. Our best recommendation is to immediately contact Samsung support https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Submit-an-Error-Report/ba-p/3001692 and explain that some apps, when launched, just show a black screen, and to solve this situation, you need to enable all game features."
Just had a fruitless conversation with Samsung support who in the end told me to contact the Samsung shop as they would have the tools to fix it. This I highly doubt as a support agent he should have had the necessary information. I will try them tomorrow. I have had exactly the same response from Microsoft who are blaming UI7
I texted with Samsung tech support yesterday and he said, after problem occurs go to support in members app. In feedback explain problem and make sure log reports is checked. Send it to them and they will investigate.
If it were Windows that we were talking about as the platform, the app developer would be expected to modify the app to work with the OS changes. No one expects Microsoft to rewrite Windows to work with a third party app. Microsoft should know this as they are the 3rd party app on the Android platform. Micrsoft needs to fix their app.
Those of us that buy the phone early are basically beta testers. We are "paid" for this in the form of great trade in dollars and perks. Last year with release of S24 there seemed to be problems with the UI and it took Samsung about a month to release an update. I'm hoping we won't have to wait longer than that this year.
