New S25 Ultra - Notifications not working

Howdy!

Received my new S25 Ultra yesterday, set it up via SmartSwitch. Everything transferred correctly but none of my notifications are working. 

Zero.

I have gone though forum postings that other people have posted looking for solutions and most of those has been DND or a routine turned on blocking notifications. 

Things I've checked:

• Do Not Disturb is TURNED OFF.
• No Modes or Routines are running (there aren't any setup).
• Sound is on.
• Vibrate is on.
• No icons or app badges show up on the top.
• The apps that I am testing with I have confirmed that notifications are turned on.
• All the options are selected for the notification options (Lock Screen, App icon badge, Notification pop-up).
• This happens if the phone is sleeping or awake.
• My old phone is still using Wi-Fi and notifications work fine on that one (other than messages and phone cause that's tied to the SIM). Turning off the old phone and waiting a few minutes and trying on the new phone, same thing happens.
• If I open the offending app, I can see the unread messages.

Other than wiping the phone, skipping the SmartSwitch and starting from scratch, I am not sure how to move forward.

As a workaround, please head to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Always On Display > Toggle this on > When to show > For new notifications. This will activate the Always On Display, and leave the notification icons visible until you unlock the device.

It is not 100% cause I can see only icon of the app not the content of the message but still better than nothing. Alternative is glimpse notifications as a 3rd party.

Guess this is a feature not a bug 😄

One addition glimpse make no charm, still no full notifications the only effect just by AOD. Guess this is the best achievable status as of today.

Comparing s24u and s25u, s25u misses option in section Style of notifications in context window, "Show even with turned off display", if I turn off this option with s24u it behaves identically as s25u. So please samsung allow us this option with next firmware

Facing the same issue for NobrokerHood app. Working fine on my old phone but on s25 ultra i am not getting notifications. I get notification post entry of the person.

Same here with the S25 Plus. I received my phone on February 1st and transferred my data from my S24 FE. Most apps don’t send notifications unless my phone is unlocked or plugged into the charger. I think it’s an Android 15 issue, and I’m hoping the next update fixes it since there doesn’t seem to be a solution.

The same! The problem appears to be that notifications don't come through while the phone is idle and/or locked. Samsung FIX it please!!!

Hi i had the same issue its obvious a software issue, i downloaded Glimpse Notifications from Play Store perfect all notifications and wakes up screen when phone of ie in stand by .
