S25 Ultra all apps are using the same notification tone and not the default

I've been an avid Samsung user for many years, and just upgraded from the s24 ultra to the s25 ultra. The s25 is playing the same notification sound for every single app. For example, my WhatsApp, ring doorbell, text messages, Facebook, Gmail, etc all make the same alert sound and there's no way to make the app play their default sounds. I spoke with 2 different Samsung employees on chat and they both told me it was not possible and they have no record of notification issues. So, I proceed to drive to an authorized repair shop and they told me its a Samsung software issue and my best bet is to return the phone until Samsung fixes their issue. 

Anyone else having this issue? Any idea when a much needed software update will be released?

Select the app by touching and holding until you get an applet popup. On the top right of the applet, you'll see a small circle with an "I" in it. Click on that then choose notifications, notification categories and then choose the sound you want for particular notifications.

If you the sounds do not show up in the list of choices (which they should being part of the app will will populate there) you may have to download them separately. These images are my examples of my Samsung Members app.

That's literally what everyone is doing and yet, no changes. So your advise is unfortunately incorrect

Also having the same issue. It could be a bug, because discord is also doing it too. Even uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help.

Has anyone figured out how to separate app sounds so that they are not all the same ?

Settings | Notifications | Advanced Settings | Manage notification categories for each app | On

Then you can go into your apps, and look for it's notification settings, then for Notification categories, and from there can set the sounds for each app specifically.

Iv done that and the only thing that changed over was email. And i have a snap notification that I changed. But they reverts back to the system sounds. And same with Facebook and weather wigit. Along with other things. Can't change them so I don't have to keep looking at my phone.

Thank you I have that set up and have done that. But when I selected the sound out of the app I'm trying to change . When I get a notification. It's the basic sound like my text message. So something isn't working .

Yea . It's snap chat . And Facebook. The weather wigit. Like my girlfriend is have a specific sound for her on snap . And it won't come through. It just comes through as the text sound. And other snaps have the same sound. . I event went to the store talked to a tech . They looked up forms . And alot of people have the same issue. So I don't know if it's needs an update the is not out yet. Or they just made it to hard to personalize

It's OK. That why it never hurts to ask. Iv even looked up youtube videos from reviews.

You need to add sounds into the notification folder then address them to each app or contact u like.
