S25 Ultra overheating and poor battery life

I had this issue on my S24 Ultra in late summer, so I decided to trade it in for the S25 Ultra and it's happening straight out of the box. The phone gets really warm and the battery starts dropping at like... 1% every minute or two. Restarting the phone stops it for a little while but then it keeps doing it. I've included the battery graph, and you can see it just randomly curve down. Does anyone know what could be causing this? My Pixel 8 gets better battery life at this point!

Edit: 90 minutes of being bounced around support agents and I'm done. I'm returning this piece of junk and recommend anyone who's experiencing the same thing to do the same.

Same issue, getting low battery soon then my old one plus phone, seems s25 has battery issue

Same. Fast drain and slow charging. Battery estimated to last 10 hours at full charge. Just crazy! Interestingly I contacted support, they had me put the phone in safe mode. Charging started working as normal and battery drain has been normal since leaving safe mode. Hope the fix sticks!

Well nevermind. This morning this dumb thing lost 7% of battery while I took a shower! There better be an update that fixes this.

So Samsung's solution is to take my new phone for 5 days to try and fix it. Leaving me without a phone. I'll just be returning this **bleep**.

This has been happening to mine at this point, overall worst experience had from samsung. From fedex stealing my trade in, to my battery life draining extra fast on thr s25 ultra. I could go 2 days without charging my s23 ultra

Mine is doing the same thing was at 100 percent when I woke up at 8 am this morning. It's 8:45 and its already at 77 percent. Seems odd to me
