I upgraded to the Watch 7 from the Watch 4 and have been having issues with the display turning off every few hours on my wrist even though the AOD setting is on. I saw some posts on Reddit and there's quite a few people with the same issue. Wrist detection isn't the issue. I believe it's a software glitch.

Yeah I have the same issue when using the Ultra Info Page face. Doesn't happen when using the Ultra Analog face.

Same issue with my brand new Watch 7, hope I don't need to return it.

Ever since updating to the latest firmware my watch ultra display has started turning itself off at random intervals.  I only discover it when I raise my wrist to wake the watch and nothing happens.  I turn it back on, AOD is off, and in a day or so it will turn itself back off.

I'm not happy as this is the flagship.

Same issue here.  Every time I go to look at the watch the screen is off and when I turn it on it is locked.  Not happy Jan!  Urgent fix needed.

Mine has been draining battery in less than 10 hrs from 100% to 0%, shutting off. I went through all the diagnostic steps and cleared extra storage along with other things, hoping tomorrow it isn't dead by the EOD.

Same here. Every morning when coming out of sleep, I have to turn on AOD and sounds manually now.
