I have tried to figure out for for at least 2 years how to sync phone Do Not Disturb settings to the Watch5. I've searched online EVERYWHERE and all I can find is people repeatedly saying "just go into the Wear app and find the sync settings" but there are not sync settings on my app anywhere! I'm going crazy because every "solution" states so simply what to do and my app does not have these options! HELP!!!

It's a Motorola but I've had 3 different phones since I got this watch and it has never worked on any of them. My Watch3 DND worked perfectly fine with any phone I had it connected to.

Watch 3 used the Tizen OS so had a completely different API for notifications and modes. The Watch 4 and later use Google's Wear OS. So it seems that there is an incompatibility issue with non-Samsung phones.

Well that is extremely disappointing because I love the watches but I not the phones.

Okay$ do you have Google Home? There is an automation tab I believe you can create a theater mode and Do not disturb. Be careful I made one last night and couldn't get it stop or wake Bixby.

In the wear app. Watch settings. Notifications there is a slider to sync dnd with phone. Also in the Wear app watch settings, modes is the first setting in the list, but they would only be there if you have a Samsung phone. Samsung watches, while functional with other Android phones, are really made to function optimally with Samsung phoness to take advantage of the OneUI features, such as modes and syncing dnd.1736605376945.jpg1736605376985.jpg

No, unfortunately none of those settings exist anymore unless you have a Samsung phone,  which I do not.

I said you had to have a Samsung phone. Modes & routines are part of Bixby, which is exclusive to Samsung. As I said, the watches are designed to work best with Samsung phones to take advantage of exclusive Samsung features.
