I am hoping someone can help me with this issue! I have tragically lost my phone and with it all of my contacts. For one reason or another, they were not backed up to any cloud service. Fortunately, they are saved on my watch. Unfortunately, I have not found a solution to exporting them OFF the watch (without tedious manual effort).

Samsung customer support directed me to pair the watch to a new device. However, this would require a reset of the watch which defeats the purpose. If anyone has a suggestion, I'm all ears!

After some research I found a solution to my own problem. In case anyone has the same issue, the following steps worked for me. Note that my watch only stored the contacts' names, phone numbers, and email addresses.
1. Enable developer options and ADB on the Watch.
2. Use a second device to sideload an app that can export contacts to a file. I used the APK for Export Contacts on F-Droid.
3. Open the app on the Watch and allow access to contacts and files. Export the contacts to vCard file(s).
3. On a second device, utilise an FTP connection to access the Watch files. I used WinSCP on Windows 10.
4. Navigate to and download the vCard file(s) from the Watch in the location they were exported to.
