Hello! I have an issue with my Galaxy Watch 4 that I haven't had ever. I started noticing this yesterday. Everytime someone would text me, it will only show me phone numbers instead of contact names. I did check the app itself on the watch and it only tells me "no contacts" with the black background; that's it. There's no plus sign, nothing. I did search this topic on Google and it did talk about resetting the watch, which I did twice, and nothing seems to be working. It also talked about looking at the app setting and seeing if the contacts show "allow", which I also checked and it does say that. I was hoping to find answers on this community and see what else there is to do. Thank you so much!!
I also have this issue - I've noticed it for a few weeks. I downloaded the Google Contact app, a brand new download on my phone and the watch, to see if it was an app glitch, and the same issue on their app.
Mine started with the same problem a week ago as well. The first thing I noticed was that the weather app only shows the local weather, not the same locations that I have on the phone (in fact it doesn't allow you to add them either), then the contacts and the names in the call log. It doesn't sync the Samsung Contacts app or the Google Contacts app. I've already tried everything without a solution. Even with my wife's mobile phone and account, the same thing happens. I've had it for a month and I already hate it. >=[
