Galaxy WatchJust got the new watch 7 and am unable to pair with my Google account. When I open the store icon on my watch, it prompts me to select my account on my phone, so I go to my phone and sign in, and then the screen just auto-closes and nothing happens.
I've tried the following, to no avail:
-resetting watch
-unpairing, repairing watch
-removing 2 step verification
-removing lock screen ID
Hoping there are others with the same issue.

Try these steps:
- Go to Wearables app and click "watch settings"
- scroll down and click on "Accounts and backup"
- from there, add a Google account.

Galaxy WatchThis did not work. Instead of the screen force closing, it simply replied with a "couldn't copy your Google accounts" notification at the bottom of the screen.
