The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. š”

Galaxy WatchAlternatively, your "repaired" watch may be blessed w/ a NEW beta software update w/ the "fix" for this bug... HaaHaa... You may be a trailblazer. š
Just kidding, I'm back to reality. Even if that was the case, I don't think it's worth giving up your otherwise functional watch for them to just send it back to you or replace w/ another refurb'd watch that has the same, defective software.
If you do send it in for "repair", keep us posted! š

Galaxy WatchI do think this was a software bug as my watch was flawless previous to the recent update.

Galaxy WatchTo do what I did, next time it forces a reset do a clear cache first. Then do the reset. The clear cache process is a sticky on the watch forum.

Galaxy WatchHello. While I understand that this comment isn't necessarily related to the original technical issue, please bear w/ me because I feel it *IS* relevant to (at least my) previous posts on this thread. And I feel compelled to call myself out on it.
Re-reading through this thread, I want to formally apologize. Many of my attempts to reply to a specific comment appear as a reply to the original post instead, making the conversation more difficult to follow.
Not sure if it's user error on my part, or some wonky forum behavior, but I'll do my best to pay better attention going forward.
Thanks in advance for your patience & understanding.

Galaxy WatchIdeally, each thread is about one topic and has a documented solution before it's closed. Sadly, this is not how it seems to go. Even on well moderated forums, it's hard to keep clean. Good luck everyone.
I've posted about my results after I cleared the cache which seems to have done the trick at least for forced resets. Maybe too early to tell, but almost 2 weeks without one. You should try it. Maybe it will work for you.
