My Galaxy 5 watch charger is faulty for some reason. Just bought it about 3 weeks ago. Was working fine and now it shorts out and takes all day to charge sometimes

Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. I can certainly understand your concern with your charger not working and would be happy to look into this further for you.

If your watch's battery is completely discharged, it will not power on. You'll need to charge it before turning it on. If the watch will not power on, it doesn't seem to charge, or the light on the charger blinks, the problem could be anything from the battery, connection, the charger, or the watch itself. Give this link a try for steps to assist with your watch not charging: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003100/

Have you tried another charger with your watch to see if you experience these symptoms?

Are you using the original charger that came with the watch?

If you have tried the troubleshooting steps provided and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend a service repair. For in-warranty repairs: Please feel free to reach out to us directly via one of the following options and include a link to this thread.
