I have the Galaxy Watch 5, it is a little over a year old and for some reason it will not hold a charge. I can not use it and the battery goes from 100% to 0% in 4-5 hours. Is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
Have you done a diagnostic on the watch battery? Go to your phone settings/device care/diagnostics. Choose watch diagnostics and you can either test the whole watch or just the battery. Also, battery life depends on how you are using the watch. Too much time in standalone mode disconnected from your phone decreases battery. Too many notification vibrations reduces battery.
If you just got the recent ui 6 update, that's probably the reason why. I have the watch6 classic and it updated to it a couple of days ago and then my watch would die in a couple of hours and constantly restart. A day later a new update fix came through and the battery still drains quickly. Hopefully a new update will fix that soon.
