I don't get why exactly but when i go from bluetooth to WiFi like when my phone is charging and I'm still wearing my watch, it usually will just notify me I'm in standalone mode and won't switch until i go into settings and tell it to connect to my wifi network.  My former Android Wear watch did this seemlessly without me noticing but this watch i often lose my notifications when I'm trying to top my phone off and I'm still wearing the watch around the house . Going in and out of bluetooth range basically makes the feature worthless. When it does automaticly switch it's usually after 10 minutes of being on standalone mode. So what gives?

do you reenter the password on the phone or the watch?

I would recommend re-entering the password on both devices.

Same issue here... I've got another topic on connectivity issues, and so far no reply from Samsung.

If everyone is working on the new OS shouldn't you at least give a feedback on that sense and a timeline when these issues will be addressed

I solved this "connecting.." problem on Galaxy Watch with changing encryption on my router from WPA2 to WPA.

It works for few days and notifications were coming to phone. Now i have another problem - it's connecting on wi-fi but watch remain on Standalone (although icon of wi-fi is there).

@SamsungAdam if you mean on Galaxy Wearable/Watch connection/Remote connection - than yes, it's turned on. Because when I first succeded to connect on WiFi everything worked. I had WiFi symbol on watch and on the bottom it was written somethnig like "Connected using remote connection", and now I have WiFi symbol but on bottom it's written Standalone and I don't receive any notification.

Tnx.

Try to clear the cache app and cache data for your galaxy wearable app.

@SamsungAdam I tried to clear the cache app and cache data from my galaxy wearable app, and it was OK just for one day. Now is everything in mess, I have few scenarios:

- BT is working, when I go to second floor it disconnect and than it won't connect automaticaly (forgot network...connect...retype password....)

- so, watch doesn't want to connect automaticaly, but after I connect it manualy once per day remote connection is working and rest of the day watch is connected to WiFi but it is in Standalone mode and it doesn't receive notifications

- after that when I come back near the watch, some times it connect back to BT connection, some time it won't connect. I was traying to turn off/on BT on mobile, on watch, close/open application...and only after reset phone and watch it connect back to BT

- so conclusion is that connection and switching between BT and WiFi is NOT WORKING 😞

I bought galaxy watch before few days, before I had Huawei Sport Watch 2 and i had little problems, but it was working for few months and than after restart it was working again for few months. Huawei was working around my house through BT and WiFI perfectly, so I was thinking that Samsung will be much much better, but now I'm very disappointed.

Try to do something, make some update or I don't know, because my main purpose of smart watch is to leave phone on table and receive notifications around all my house, not to carry phone in pocket and read messages and etc on watch
