Maintenance mode for Galaxy watch 6 classic repair

Need to send my watch 6 classic in for repair. I'm being told to put the watch in "maintenance mode." There is NOTHING in my watch labeled maintenance mode. Searching through wearable on my phone says that the word "maintenance" doesn't even exist in my watch settings. So, huh?

@wjh27 They want you to put it into "maintenance mode" and then ship it to them? Or are they just asking you to do that during troubleshooting? 

I think that they want you to get into recovery mode.

1. Hold down both buttons until you the watch resets and then shows the Samsung name.
2. Then click the Home button twice.
3. You will get to a text menu.
4. Click the home button multiple times to get Recovery menu highlighted.
5. Then long press on the Home button until the menu changes.

They want me to put it in maintenance mode before I ship it to them. It's not talking about recovery mode.

@wjh27 I would ask them for instructions on how to enable maintenance mode.

There isn't a maintenance mode for Galaxy watches to the best of my knowledge. I would just perform a factory reset when sending it for repair. When it gets sent back to you it is simple enough to restore from your last backup.

Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry for the confusion. As @JollyCello stated there isn't a maintenance mode for the watch. Maintenance mode is for out watches and tablets.
