Why in the world would you take away the ability to back up our watches manually in the Wearable app? Make it make sense, I have to wait for what is now "PERIODICALLY" to back up my watch, how often is periodically? If you switch to store backups to Samsung Cloud, how does that work, when does that happen?
If you go into notifications in your phone settings and select Do Not Disturb, you can set parameters, such as turn off all notifications, some notifications, phone calls, etc. You can also set a schedule whereby it goes on automatically at whatever time you set for however long you set.
You can set it to allow only notifications/texts/calls from certain contacts or certain apps. I don't remember what the default is, but I would have assumed that it would turn off all notifications--guess not.
You do not have to set a schedule and just turn it on when you want to, but, the parameters you set for who/what gets blocked stays as your settings when you turn it on.
If you go into modes & routines, you can set sleep mode (bedtime mode on your watch), which will add DND and any other action you want it to take while you sleep. Incidentally, you should put your watch in sleep mode when you sleep, if for no other reason then to keep your watch from turning on every time your arm rubs against something.
I just the set DND, but earlier I set up a mode, should I cancel that one, I used to have the sleep mode on my watch but it stopped working after an update a while ago so lately I just let my watch stay on and turned off my phone
My 5 Pro isn't backing up anymore, it's hasn't backed since May. I've had to reset it Three times since then. I don't know what to do to fix the issue. Does anybody have any ideas?
Have the same issue w my Watch Ultra. "...backup not been saved to Samsung account storage in over 38 days... It is stored on my S24 Ultra but not on the Cloud. Smart Switch app on the wearable shows as "gray-out"...non-operational.
