I have both a watch 5 40mm lte & 5 pro LTE on T-mobile's data with Paired Digits cellular plan. If I leave my phone at home & make/take a phone call on LTE I'll get a warning the watch is too hot. It ends my call, ends my workout & puts the watch on airplane mode plus makes the watch very unresponsive to touch.

Advertising X battery life and getting less is one thing... But completely not functioning is unacceptable.  do I have to do to use my watch for it's normal function? Cellular service on this watch is completely useless. 2 minutes into every phone call the watch has a stroke.

It's only 25C outside. What will the watch do when it's 40C?

I can certainly understand your frustration with the watch overheating. Here is an article with some  factors that can affect the temperature of the watch.  https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/

Have you tried performing a reset on the  watch? https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/

Also check to see if the software is up-to-date. If the watch is still overheating, then it would be recommended to have the watch evaluated by a certified technician. You could also contact your place of purchase to see what options they may have available. You can use the following link below to request service. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/

or by contacting customer service at 1-800-726-7864.

For an international device, please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

We also recommend submitting an error report immediately when the issue occurs to provide this information to the engineering team. Error reports can be submitted following these steps: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-send-an-error-report/
