Galaxy Watch 7/Ultra resetting

The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. 😡

Don't get me wrong. There's some android things I'm liking. Like the themes. I have some I switch around and love it. I also like close all for apps. There's a few other things. I absolutely love the look of the GW6C I have. I also love the rotating bezel. I'm not too much of a fan of the swipe around the outside of the screen for the ultra. I really wish they had added a rotating bezel there. I feel they aren't bad hardware wise, just bad os wise. I keep wondering how lax of a QC and UAT program do they have at Samsung?

These days I feel too many rush the UAT just to get to market with the hardware and software. I have the same issue with Android Auto lol. Here's hoping some one from Samsung sees this isn't just a one off and can address it. They need beta testers they need to let us know if it means we can have a better product experience

I have a Samsung Galaxy ultra and Samsung s24 ultra. Got the watch in November. It has needed reset due to disconnecting from my phone now 4 times. Looking forward to the software patch that fixes this but seriously disappointing that this occurs so frequently with such expensive items.

This little issue happened to me twice now, 1st on when I updated my Galaxy watch ultra last year, sorry I forgot the date, and today when I got out of bad and put it on the charger and got in the shower :shower:! My phone is a Galaxy S23 ultra, so I don't think it is a particular phone model! It seems that samsung pushed out another bad update, I guess that way good programmers like me test everything before they push out! And here I was going to write the 1st issue down as a hiccup!

This is the 5th or 6th time my watch just resets. I've tried troubleshooting the issue by clearing the cache of the Watch PlugIn. Yet it still persists. This will probably be the last watch I buy from Samsung. How can your most expensive watch keep having these issues.

Have you checked for the Google Play System update that is available. It might fix this issue.

I'll give that a shot, I'm switching back to 6 Classic for now. Never had the issue with that.

Galaxy watch ultra and Galaxy fold 5. Happening to me for a few months. Sometimes once every 2 weeks and other times twice the same day. Always brings up a galaxy play services issue. Can sometimes install backup that only takes 20 minutes but last night I had to reinstall everything back into watch. At least this problem is being publicized on other websites as well

This has happened to me more than I can count on two hands I haven't had it very long and I have the watch 7, And I have a watch 7 ultra that is doing the same thing
