The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. 😡

Galaxy WatchSo far, it's been 3 weeks without the disconnect and reset notification. It may have been the 3rd party watch face....?

Galaxy Watch@Twabbles , thanks for the response. I wish you the best regarding your situation, but I can confirm from my own experience, even "Set up as NEW Watch" (not using restore) still resulted in a disconnect from my phone within 2 weeks or less, requiring a watch factory reset to reconnect.
Regarding watch faces, I've always only used a pre-installed, Samsung-recommended face. Not that I haven't WANTED to use/purchase 3rd party faces, rather I've held off for two reasons... 1) I didn't want to introduce another set of factors into this bug. 2) I've heard configuring complicated watch faces via the Wear app tends to crash, requiring a difficult setup which must be done directly on the watch. It's bad enough having to re-set up my watch every time I'm forced to factory reset it... I'm not looking to make it worse by having to reconfigure a complicated watch face each time too.
Good luck, keep us posted!

Galaxy WatchAll - It seems this "Watch Disconnect & forced reset" issue has made headlines via a few tech & news outlets, etc...
Just search Google or similar for something like, "Galaxy Watch forced reset".
Not surprisingly, each of those platforms have confirmed the insane # of examples on various forums & the Samdung Community... Also not surprisingly, none of those tech/news outlets have received a response from Samdung when contacted about this issue.
Related... I checked again this morning for a Software update (as I have every morning since the Jan. Watch update that introduced this bug). Still no update available.

Galaxy WatchThank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with your watch resetting repeating. If you have submitted an error report and the software is up-to-date, I would recommend a service repair. You can use the following link below to request service. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/
For an international device, please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
We also recommend submitting an error report immediately when the issue occurs to provide this information to the engineering team. Error reports can be submitted following these steps: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
