After testing multiple times over the last two weeks, I am confident in saying that my Galaxy Watch Ultra is counting steps while I am doing an indoor stationary bike exercise. It is typically a little over 3,000 steps during a 40-minute ride.

i mean it kind of makes sense, if you're doing a bike exercise, your feet and body are still moving as if you are walking, so the galaxy watch might think that you are walking.

I've owned every Galaxy Watch, and none of them have counted steps while riding an exercise bike. So I don't know what's happening.

Question for you, did you tell it in advance that you were doing a biking activity and start it on your watch? Or was this done via auto-detect workout?
