Watch3 constantly un-syncs from numbersync

I have my phone note 9+ and watch3 up to date with all the new software, yet it continually disconnects from numbersync when I step away from my phone. Wasn't the whole point of buying this watch is to have the availability to leave ypur phone? Seems to be a major problem with no one from Samsung being able to offer up and real fix so far.

Same situation.  Note 9 SM-N960U  and Watch 3 both have all updates. When it was first released,  after several days/weeks/what felt like years NumberSync "took" and it was all good thru updates, reboots, separating devices, phone running out of power, and still accepting calls like I was DÍck Tracy in some barren parking lot.  Still stayed enabled.  Awesome.   Past few weeks, NumberSync is constantly disabling itself or dropping and becomes a really nifty watch with nice "smart" information without the main purpose of the app.  communication-related notifications.  What changed recently? and please un-change it or provide a fix?

I can't even find numbersync to start the process of syncing my phone. I do not see the option in Samsung Wearables. I can turn on sync but there is no "numbersync".
