Water lock won't turn off - Galaxy Watch Ultra

Is anyone else having issues with the water lock not turning off? I have to restart my watch or the water lock won't stay off. I ran all of the diagnostic tests and everything checks out normal.

How do I restart the watch? No buttons work and I don't see it in the app on the phone

Same problem here. Watch 4 on wear OS 5.0. Cant unlock from water lock without forcing reboot on the watch. Incredibly enfuriating.

My Galaxy watch ultra says "can't play water ejection sound while another sound is playing" there are no other sounds playing. I can't turn off the water lock

I had to reboot my watch by holding the orange and top button together UNTIL it rebooted itself.

That's what I ended up doing. I shouldn't have to though. 🤦

My Ultra is also doing the same, when holding the release water lock button it does not do anything. I think it's because I took the watch off my wrist and it's locked so now I can't unlock the watch either

Yes, mine does the same thing. It's something Samsung should definitely fix. I don't take mine off now if the water lock is on.

I have the same problem, it just started today so it must have been a recent upgrade. I think I accidentally interrupted the original unlock by pressing the button again and then after that it was stuck. Rebooting fixed the issue but a person shouldn't have to do that.

I'm having this same issue. It says, "Can't play water lock sound while another sound is playing." It won't let reset it without unlocking my watch. And it won't let me unlock it either. Very frustrating because I just got this and made the switch to Android from Apple. Not happy at all.

If you just hold both buttons until the screen goes black, it will do a hard reset, once it reboots you can unlock it like any other time you reboot
