We had this problem fixed just months after we purchased this television. It stops being able to turn on. We see sometimes a flicker of an image or a few seconds of audio and it shuts itself off. The last time, the technician had to replace an expensive piece of equipment. Now we are two years later and it is broken again. We aren't under warranty anymore but it seems that the company should reimburse us for at least part of the original purchase price since this is clearly a faulty piece of equipment. Waiting to hear what the expense will be to fix it again.
