I just picked up my new Q70D 75" QLED tv.  I haven't even set it up or plugged it in yet, but I am thinking I will maybe want a sound bar for it.  I am not an audio junky but I do like good clear audio when watching TV.  I am not looking for anything expensive.  I am sure something under $100 off Amazon would be sufficient.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I like the idea of bluetooth connection but it sounds like HDMI-Arc is the best option.  Any opinions on that?  One other question, does the sound bar turn off and on with the TV or do you normally have to turn it off separately?
thanks for any suggestions, advice or help.

Bruce

One last question.  I wish this had HDMI Arc, but since it doesn't, I am assuming that Optical is the best way to connect this to the TV???  Yes/No?

If your TV has an optical input, yes that's the preferred connection.  If I remember correctly, Z-Vox put several different cables in the box for connection. My TV does not have an optical connector because it's older, so my sound bar is connected with the audio connector (red/white)

I am laking my new zvox. It works really get good and helps me with my hearing impairments. And ZVOX customer service was really good in helping me get it to work with my original TV remote on volume up and down and off and on.
