Home TheaterAdd+remove Device & Uninstall +Install Smart Things combo didnt worked.
So, tried resetting the 990C SoundBar by pressing and holding together + & - Button for 5-7 seconds. A message "INT" will appear on the soundbar which shows that Reset is completed.
After this, added the SoundBar to SmartThings App.
Now able to AirPlay Samsung Q990C.

Home TheaterThank you for sharing this concern with us. I can understand how frustrating not being able to pair your devices. Since Airplay works a little differently from common Bluetooth. Does the display show “BT Pairing” or BT Ready? Take a look at the troubleshooting below and let us know if this helps.

Home TheaterI dont see any issue in Bluetooth connection. I'm able to easily pair it with any devices.
MAIN ISSUE IS WITH AIRPLAY - Airplay connectivity is quite easily and no need to spend time in pairing if different people in same home want to connect to Speaker and play music using their own cellphone, if they are connected to same WiFi as Sound bar. Though AirPlay feature is listed in Soundbar, unable to use it - is a worrying part...

Home TheaterJust to say it: Samsung's answer is weird, wrong, off point, and would seem to show a lack of knowledge on their part. AirPlay uses WiFi, not bluetooth. I got here because I too am having no luck trying to get my soundbar to stay connected to my home WiFi (which means no Airplay and no Alexa). The bar connects, and then within hours it is saying disconnected and the only solution is to remove it from Smartthings altogether and to set it up new.
If anyone could offer insight into how to resolve this, it would be much appreciated....

Home TheaterHi Scott, I have done this many times before starting this forum - removing the sound bar from SmartThings and adding it back. Let me try again. Planning to install SmartThings App after removing it. If either of these works, I'll post it here... Hoping for the best.
I have Sonos Arc(with Subwoofer and Sonos one as surround) in living room for past 3 years. Haven't faced any issues with AirPlay. Hoping Samsung will get this addressed sooner. The quality of sound with Q990C is awesome.
